This page has been moved to Installation at doc.tikiwiki.org All relevant documentation info should be moved there too.

Installation requirements What you should check first: Requirements and Setup. Understand that getting Tiki to run without checking those doesn't mean that everything will always work. You can always opt to choose a TikiFriendlyHosts. Some even offer to Install Tiki for you! You may need to go to Download first to get your copy of Tiki (which would naturally be the latest version).

mstovenour40 points : Am I the only one that receives either an "internal server error" or a "forbidden" error every time I try to post to the forums? I must have tried 10 times between yesterday and today. Only one try succeeded and now I can't post a follow up.
gemini: anyone used XSLT with tiki? tutorials / tips? i need to query an external DB. thx!
chibaguy917 points : TomJarvis, the error seems to be a quirk of this server. Try waiting a bit and then posting again.
trc: I notice there is a problem with editing articles in ver 1.9.8 and the latest one as well. Has someone ever noticed this?
felix7 points : Ok, so it's done by disabling page titles and putting headings instead. Well, works too. Thanks
