TikiWiki 5.0 Beta 2, Install With Success But No Theme Displayed

After installing TikiWiki Beta 5.0 Beta 2 On A Web Host,
The SQL Setup worked perfectly, everything got installed as expected.

One the install finished, and got to the end result site, the data is visible but the theme is not applied.

I check the PHP Config and the memory size is set to 32 meg (more then required).

www.site.com is not my real site, the links should not go anywhere.

After the install, the page www.site.com/tiki-install.php was displaying properly.

But going to www.site.com/tiki-admin.php?page=general#content1 display the image attached.

-> http://img408.imageshack.us/img408/1779/4302010111202am.png

Also clicking on www.site.com/tiki-admin.php?page=general#content4 does not go anywhere.

I emptied the IE Cache, tried in Google Chrome and FireFox with the same outcome.

I installed TikiWiki 4 on the same host, using a different folder, and a different MySQL DB with no problem what so ever.

Any help will be appreciated

PS: I did search the forum for similar beheavior.

I've seen this happen before sometimes when either the Tiki cache isn't cleared or when not all files have been successfully FTPed to the host location.

Some things to check:

  • Did you install Tiki5 on a new database, or upgrade an existing database?
  • On the Review the Installation page of the installer, were there any errors?
  • Confirm that you copied all files from the ZIP to your host (especially all the *.css files in your ../TIKI_HOME/styles/.. directory.
  • Did you clear the Tiki cache after completing the install?
  • Can you access the Admin: Look & Feel page and manually select a theme?

•Did you install Tiki5 on a new database, or upgrade an existing database?
-> Brand New DB

•On the Review the Installation page of the installer, were there any errors?
-> No Errors

•Confirm that you copied all files from the ZIP to your host (especially all the *.css files in your ../TIKI_HOME/styles/.. directory.
-> All Files Got Uploaded Correctly, The CSS Are Presents

•Did you clear the Tiki cache after completing the install?
-> I Did Not Initially, After Your Message I cleared The Folliwing Folders:
./templates_c/
./modules/cache/
./temp/cache/
No Change, Is There A Better Way To Clear It, Did I Missed One?

•Can you access the Admin: Look & Feel page and manually select a theme?
-> Yes I can, But When Changing The Theme It Does Do Display The Small Preview Underneath. Also Once Clicking Apply, Nothing Change.

lol @ me, not quite easy to navigate through it when the theme is not applied.

I found the cache option at: www.site.com/tiki-admin_system.php?do=all
Cleared All The Cache:

Directory to exterminate Files/Size Action
Clear all Tiki caches --> Option Used To Clear The Cache

lol @ me, not quite easy to navigate through it when the theme is not applied.

I found the cache option at: www.site.com/tiki-admin_system.php?do=all
Cleared All The Cache:

Directory to exterminate Files/Size Action
Clear all Tiki caches ** Option Used To Clear The Cache **
./templates_c/ (1 Files / 427 b)
./modules/cache/ (4 Files / 1.07 Kb)
./temp/cache/ (1 Files / 382 b)
./temp/public/ (2 Files / 657 b)

Same Outcome.

1) I created another folder on my host, uploaded all the files from the zip file downloaded from the tikiwiki site.
2) All files uploaded through FTP correctly.
3) Create A New DB, Empty.
4) Change The Access Rights Of Some Folders Required Prior To The Install.
5) Process The Install
6) Create The DB Table - With No Error
7) Installation With No Error

Same Outcome, Style No Template Used

Well After Getting Frustrating On Posting The Same Thing 3 Times And Find Out That You Cannot Use "< - -" without The Space, I Figured What Was Wrong With My TikiWiki.

Prior To The Install, It's Required To Change The Access Rights To Some Folders.
Looking At Cache Folders:
./templates_c/
./modules/cache/
./temp/cache/
./temp/public/

And The temp/public Had A CHMOD Of 755, I Changed It To 777 And Finally The Page Is Displayed As Expected.

Thanks ricks99 For Pointing Me In The Right Direction ;)
