RPM Install

Trying my darndest to get TikiWiki 1.8 running on my Fedora Core 3 box and haven't any success.

1. I've installed the TikiWiki RPM
2. I've chmodded the setup.sh 755
3. I'm running Apache as user apache, group apache
4. I've created a MySQL db and assigned the appropriate rights to that user
5. When I attempt to run the setup.sh with su -c './setup.sh apache' , nothing happens.
6. I try going to the tiki-install.php and get the install page, but no matter what I enter for user, password, database, etc work. It just throws me back to the same screen.

I'm really wanting to get this working.

Thanks,
Toby

If you installed with selinux, either disable it or work out some policies, it wont work out of the box with selinux enabled.

Make sure your mysql has a db user root password set, and dont use db user root for the tikiwiki database.

Let me work on the database side of things. Selinux is installed, but disabled already. Any idea why the setup.sh doesnt run?

Thanks again,
Toby
