Broken References containing .ph links

I just recently got TikiWiki 1.8.5 installed and running on my server and have come across a strange phenomenom. In two places (so far), links to pages have had .ph instead of .php in them (and the links are broken because of this).

I have run across this in two places:

1. When I registered a username for the site. The link in the email message that I received contained this error. When I fixed the url to .php in the new browser window that opened the link worked fine.

2. When I uploaded an image to the image gallery, the page immediately after uploading it contains a link to the image and the image thumbnail. Both of those graphic links were broken (due to the same error).

Does anyone know why this would be happening? I tried to search the source for references to .ph but didn't find any so I don't know where this is being set. I am not a php programmer but I am an expert programmer in many other languages, so interpreting the code is not that hard for me.

Could be related to the host? Who are you hosting with are other users on the server having similar issues?

I am hosting it myself on my own server. I am running IIS 6 on XP Professional. I have PHP 5 installed along with mySQL. Everything else seems to be working correctly and not all links are broken, just some pages. That is what seems so weird.
