IDE environement developpement PHP

I'm in java's formation for a while (with DB, xml, connectivity, NTIC & more) and I'm astonished there's nobody talking about an IDE to work on tiki.
I try Eclipse 3 to dev on Java, and it's great :-)
I've discovered there's a php module too on it.

Question :
It's not more easy to maintain a huge website like tiki with IDE tools?
Even if it's more nice to dev in txt mode, for working on tiki, it's perhaps more easy to work together on IDE?

Free and well supported by Java Communauty :

Its personal preference.

if your educated to use a mouse, then yeah clicky ide's are good fun, but if your serious coder, then your into multiple xterms, vi's and firefox's

IDEs for me are way tooooo slow. I can be in and out with the file modified before you have even located the mouse pointer on the screen.

We have pages on this site about using Eclipse, and didnt you see, eclipse.de is a tiki wink

eclipse also has a very! slow CVS integration.

p.s. eclipse also crashes a lot
