Separate Blog Tables for Tiki
Greetings — In the default Tiki installation, when a blog is created it goes to a single database table. I am set to teach four college courses in the fall, and I want each of my students to create a personal blog. But that's a lot of blogs (perhaps 120), and it would be nice to have four separate database tables, one for each course. (At present I get around this need by making four separate wiki "gateway" pages on which I could manually provide hyperlinks to the blogs for each course, but that requires too much "keeping track.") I know how to make a database table using PhPMyAdmin and MySQL, but I'm not sure how much is involved in setting up four separate tables for blogs — how much php work am I looking at here, or is it not as complicated a task as I suspect it is? Any advice would be appreciated. I'll eventually make a close study of the tech books I have on hand, but perhaps someone could give me a basic idea of what needs to be done. Many thanks, Al.
