there seem to be two menu's. one i can locate and is the
'templates/modules/mod-application_menu.tpl'

but there is also an mnu_application_menu which i can assign as user module.
where does this last one come from?
there seems to be a bug in it because i see a friendship link outside the community folder

Because the database driven one is new for 1.9 and the tpl based one will be totally gone in 1.10

This is to allow the introduction of TikiMods

Are we going to see a similar feature with the wikipage activity buttons like edit, print, PDF etc?
I have been considering building a technorati submit feature (which I might make part of my tecchnoarti tag mod) - so a page gets a button for that, and can possibly be flagged for technorati submits when it is changed..

I think this system could have a 'Manual' to developers too. A 'how-to' Manual is also needed, but more than this, since this is an Open-Source project, it could have a kind of 'documentation', explaining how the things in tiki work... That's just an opinion... Because big changes like taking out the tpl based, could affect many users, that had always changed the tpl files. This is my case, for example. The way that things are requested from the database could also be more legible. I like tikiwiki very much, but I really don't know how it will be here when the 1.10 comes out!!!

Thanks,
