TikiWiki not sending mails :(

Hello,

it seems my TikiWiki is not sending any mails. I've activated the validate users by mail feature and opened the registration, but users are complaining that they don't receive any mail for activating their account.
Is there any procedure that allows me to trace the problem, so i can try to solve it? Or, do you have any idea what can be causing this?

Thank you,

João Saleiro

Make sure sender email is set in tiki-admin.php?page=general

Thank for your fast reply :-).

It is set, and it is a mail that exists and belongs to the same domain as the wiki.
But the wiki isn't sending anything... I don't have any clue on what can it be..... :| :|

Ok, maybe this can helps. I registered on the wiki with my email, and i've still haven't received nothing. But the admin mail account received this:

After googling, it seems that the problem has something to do with the "nobody", because of a restriction on CPanel that i'm not being able to find.
How can i change this "nobody" to something else, so i can avoid this problem (if this is really the cause...).

Thank you :-)

Hello,

I guess it's a spam filter problem. I had that too, all the mail tikiwiki sent was filtered, because I hadn't a reverse dns entry for my server and so the spam filter of the email service provider couldn't verify the origin of the mail. I have no problems since I asked my provider for an reverse dns entry.
