hi,

i have tikiwiki in place for over 3 years and it works great.
i have around 2.000 users a day and the site grows and grows.

but it seems that the site is getting slow.

i already added all the indexes i could find.

the forum is most jused and is slowest. on the dev page of forums there seems to be acknowledged that the forum is dead slow (page last changed 2 years ago).

being a programmer (althoug not in php) i would like to make it quicker. but not for me only but for the tikiwiki code base. and here i need help.
i need to know if there is someone already working on the forum
i need to know how i can be a tikiwiki programmer etc...

is there someone who could give me a push in the right direction?

Yes, they are working hard. wink

You might have better luck asking on the irc channel (see ConnectingToIrc ) or on the developers mailing list. Many people who work on Tiki on that level don't check these forums very often, I think.
