The Header already sent message usually means that you have forced an HTML output before starting a session. Have you customized any TPL or PHP files?

You can check your server to see which sessions are running, then manually end them.

Hi Rick ! Thanks A LOT for your answer !!!

Not knowing NOTHING about TIKI (out of writing with it...), I selected the best option for me... Deleted and installed again... and that error disappeared...

But I am still with the RSS problem... I have the Wiki and Articles RSS feeds enabled but
http://www.ebawords.com/tiki-wiki_rss.php?ver=2
does NOT reach to any place...

meanwhile
http://www.ebawords.com/tiki-articles_rss.php
and
http://www.ebawords.com/tiki-directories_rss.php?ver=2
works fine...!!!

On the second hand I have enabled "Save Minor Edit" but it does not works and while upgrading files I am deleting old files one by one to save the "recent changes" more clear and updated...

Thanks again and in advance for future the help !!!

Hi everybody !

I am very sorry to bore you with so many help requests, but I don't have money to pay for a consultant ( in the Spanish board asked for that ) and I can not go on with my project alone without support.
In this board, someone of you recommended me one month ago to upgrade from 1.9 to 3.3 ... Upgraded.. Where is he ?

It is impossible to build an Encyclopedia with TikiWiki 3.3 (LongTimeSupport) without the excellent "save minor" function from 1.9 (to avoid the constant minor changes in the indexes, for example), without RSS (to send the automatic more than 100 daily changes and new terms to my Facebook and Twitter, for example) and with a high instability... and without support !

My site is closed from today to more than 250 registered members which in a collaborative project wrote the Encyclopedia.

Sorry again, thanks everybody for the help ! No more inconveniences !

Roberto, I'm sorry to hear that the situation has come to this. There have been 3.4 and 3.5 releases, though, (bugfixes for the LTS version), so it's possible that the problems of your site have been fixed. It might be worth upgrading, to check.

Also, don't think of your help requests as inconveniences. This is a support forum, and its purpose is to give people a chance to find help.

Upgrading TikiWiki is a pain ! But the upgrade from 1.9 to 3.3 I did and you assured that it was a Long Time Support.... now I read that 3.4 and 3.5 pains are also Long Time Support... Who believes ?

Who assures me that my 2 sole but importants problems are really bugs and not misunderstanding of the million TikiWiki configurations ?
Just anybody tried to help correctly directly to the point...

The download page says "Security updates and some bug fixes will be available for Stable LTS longer than the 4.x version." What LTS means is that the feature set, etc. are stable, but there are still bug fixes - that's what Long Term Support means.

As to whether your two problems are due to bugs or configuration errors, I think the easiest way to find out would be to do the upgrade.

Two answers in the same day after two months of silence is a lot for me... but you are unique, Gary, I know...

Again... no 'save minor edit' (that excellent function of Tiki 1.9) is a bug or is configuration issue ?

...no WIKI RSS (meanwhile Directory and Articles RSS is working right) is a bug or is another configuration issue ?

I don't know and anybody till now knows... because there were no answers nor support... if it is only configuration there is no need to upgrade !

To upgrade painfully again and finally realize that they were configuration problems, is an unnecessary pain !

Well, for one thing I want to check an installation of 3.5 to see about these problems, if they are still there or not. But I don't know how soon I can get to that.

Hi!
Two possibilities: or we are speaking about diferent things... or the TikiWiki developers forgot to include the "minor edit" function from 1.9 in the new versions...!

I have downloaded 3.5 to check and the same situation appears also there: ANY minor change in ANY wiki page appears in the "Last changes" on the left menu and in the "Last Changes" module, after clicking on "Save Minor Edit" button...

Building an Encyclopedia the indexes pages changes every time a new term is included (when the project was working full time before this interruption, 60/70 times a day including updates...) , WHAT I need to avoid is the appearance of 70 times on "last Changes" the indexes pages changes... "A a" or "B b" or T t" etc.
In 1.9 I checked "Minor Edit" square and that was all!

ALSO Tiki 4 DOES NOT KNOWS HOW TO minor edit: ANY minor change in ANY wiki page appears TWICE ! in the "Last changes" on the left menu and in the "Last Changes" module, after clicking on "Save Minor Edit" button...

...but perhaps Tiki 4 receives any answer or support ! Hope...

Hi!
I am trying NOT TO CLOSE MY PROJECT and I am without minor edit (appears twice every orthographic change), without RSS, with double lines in "Last Changes" (appears twice each change), and WITHOUT SUPPORT for the last 4 months (this thread began on Dec. 28 !) !

How much must I pay for support for my LTS Open Source Tiki Wiki ?

...or instead... how can I DOWNGRADE to the excellent (for an Encyclopedia Project...) Tiki Wiki 1.9 ?

Sorry you're having so many issues...

>>...and WITHOUT SUPPORT for the last 4 months (this thread began on Dec. 28 (!) !

Please remember that we're all volunteers here. It could be that:

  1. Maybe no one fully understands your issue. Remember, this is an international community — we all speak different languages
  2. Maybe no one could duplicate your issue. Possibly it is something specific your your configuration (host, OS, customization, features, etc.)
  3. Maybe you found a bug. Have you reviewed the bug list?

You should contact a Tiki consultant directly. They can give you specific pricing.

>>
>>...or instead... how can I DOWNGRADE to the excellent (for an Encyclopedia Project...) Tiki Wiki 1.9 ?
>>

I don't think a downgrade is possible. Unless, did you backup your site before each upgrade? If so, then it should be a trivial matter to simply restore your 1.9 information.

FWIW, I always fully backup my sites (both DB and files) before each upgrade... just in case!

Thanks for the consultant proposal (in the Spanish Board still asked for money 3 months ago...), I said from the beginning that I have no money to pay... IT WAS ONLY A REFECENCE TO WHAT AN OPEN SOURCE TIKI WIKI PROJECT SHOULD BE !

Finally somedy answers but without ANY REFERENCE to the 'save minor edit', 'rss' od 'double last changes' issues....

Also I speak different languages... but I am writing in English... not spanish !

Alone again with my problems !
