    Hi!

    Yes of course you can, two method exist:

    Firstly is to simply turn it off completely in Admin->Features, (right down at the bottom Top Bar option)

    Secondly is to edit the tiki-top_bar.tpl file found in templates/
    This is a smarty templates file, but ANY HTML code can be inserted into it to generate your own top panels.

    Wow! Been up for a week playing with tikiwiki! Love it.

    I tried putting a header, banner, and JavaScript navigation on the top_bar.tpl file within the tiki "edit templates" feature and I get this:

    Fatal error: Smarty: in tiki-top_bar.tpl line 9: syntax error: unrecognized tag: //v3.0 var i,x,a=document.MM_sr; for(i=0;a&&i/home/oceanave/public_html/directory/lib/smarty/Smarty_Compiler.class.php on line 2062


    I am trying to add this but with the dynamic date and time function:

    Do I need to put the JavaScript somewhere else? Thank you for your help.
