http://foo.com vs http://www.foo.com

Is this normal?

A user with editing perms logs in at

http://www.foo.com

and all is well, but if he logs in at

http://foo.com (same ip, same tiki installation etc.)

he logs in ok, but does not have permission to edit.

What utterly obvious thing am I missing?

Thanks, yes, that's what I've done. But it shouldn't be happening. I mean if he's logged in he's logged in I would think. Man, I'm having weird problems all of a sudden. Like suddenly the actual admin user can't create or edit pages. Like suddenly, in the middle of working on it. It's the same server I've been using since 3b1 and I haven't seen weirdness like this before. Possibly in the process of working on it, some hard link moved the user to the www prefix un-noticed, and that explains it as the same bug and eliminating the www with Domain prefix handling will mask it. But, gee.
