    I created a new forum, and entered an email user, pw and pop server.

    Now, when I click on the link to open a forum, TW hangs up. I can't admin the forum either.

    I suspect it is trying to connect to the Pop Mail server, but I made a mistake and it is not able to get the emails for the forum.


    But, I can't remove the email reference because the forum admin screen won't come up.

    Is this possible? Is a function trying to get the latest emails when I connect to the forum? How can I comment this out so I can get to the Admin screen?

    I managed to find the database table where this info was stored, removed it using SQL then the forum admin screen came up properly.

    This seems to be a bug. Is there any way to get the email without it being tied to a users intereaction with a screen? Like a cron job?

    Can anyone tell me where the code is that does the conenction and retrieval?
