    Hi,

    I'am tested 1.8 and try to upload a user defined avatar (in the user preferences section).

    I choose the file and click the upload button - boom.

    The browser (opera) hangs and I can't work with tikiwiki unless I close the browser and start new.

    BTW-1: No avatar picture was uploaded.
    BWT-2: The same problem exists on tikiwiki.org

    I have try it with IE 6 too. Same result - can't work with tikiwiki, must close (all) browser windows. Start new.

    As far as I can tell, its worked. Your avatar is spiderman confused

    SORRY!

    I set the avatar spiderman AFTER MY TRY to upload a personal avatar. I choose Spiderman from the list of the available avatars. This works!

    Ah! hey, I didnt see the spiderman one there before sad wink

    I know that tikiwiki.org's server has a problem with its GD library. It could be something to do with that. I'm not sure about your setup. Do you have Image Galleries on your installation working?

    I just tried uploading an Avatar here and it worked. I am using IE 6. Maybe something in Opera is unique.
