Notice: Undefined variable: tiki_p_configure_modules in D:\webroot\tiki\tiki-module_controls.php on

Hello!

I've just installed TikiWiki for the first time:
WinXP Prof,
PHP 4.3.4
PostgreSQL 7.4.1 with Cygwin

In my PHP.INI the error-reporting is set to
error_reporting = E_ALL & ~E_NOTICE

So why do I get the message

Notice: Undefined variable: tiki_p_configure_modules in D:\webroot\tiki\tiki-module_controls.php on line 22

can anybody help me?

Thank you

Leo

Hi, Try adding the permission to the users group, then removing it. I think that will cure.

Which version of TW are you using?

Hello Damian!

I am using Versoin 1.8.2. but I am totally new to TikiWiki, i have absolutley no idea, how it works (I recently worked with MoinMoin-Wiki). I personally prefer PostgreSQL ot MySQL, so I tried to get TikiWiki working on PostgreSQL. There where some errors in the sql-File (tiki-1.8-pgsql.sql), so for example Line 2111 (the insert with 'javascript') will definitely not work. So i changed it to ... VALUES (42,'o','(debug)','javascript:toggle(\'debugconsole\')',40,'feature_debug_console','tiki_p_admin',''); instead.

However, the Install-PHP-File didn't set up all the tables and I had some more problems with setting up the database (The psql-client didn't react any more, I have never seen this before...), but now I think I've done it..

The really funny thing is, that the permission 'tiki_p_configure_modules' is in the tables 'users_permissions' (1 entry) and 'tiki_menu_options' (1 entry) but it does not appear in the 'HomePage -> perms'.

Do you have any idea?

The HomePage -> perms is setting permissions for that HomePage wiki page. so you'll only see permissions that relate to wiki. Click the :: next to Admin and choose Groups option from there, then click the key icon, next to either Registered or Anonymouse. wink you should see a whole lot more permission options now all grouped by tiki section.
