tiki-user_information.php : How do I add functionalities to registred users

Hello all,
I'm taking a chance to post my question here altough, I know and remember that most Q&A are being taken care of elsewhere.

Here is my problem: I want to give to my registered users the possibility to add bookmarks once they are registered. My setting as an admin when I gok to /tiki-user_information.php shows that I can add bookmarks whereas the settings for a registered doesn't show the same possibility.

Where would I go in my control panel to add this functionality?

Daniel.

Hi Daniel,
go to Settings > Permissions and assign the
'Can create user bookmarks (tiki_p_create_bookmarks)' perm under the user section to Registered group.

HTH,
luci

Hi,

It worked. I really appreciate your help Luci, tks.

While I'm at it, I have another question:

In the same permission page, there is a message systems function: /tiki_p_messages

(see attachement for my screen capture)

do you think it will help to slow down the number of spambots I get?

Welcome. If you get the spam via inter user messages, then yes, try to remove the perm from Anonymous group.

Otherwise nope.
