Enable multiple attachments in forum posts?

I'm using Tiki version 15.7

Two questions under this subject -

First:
In forums, posting a new message currently allows only 1 file to be attached to a post.
Is there a setting (or a procedure) that allows multiple files to be posted in a single forum post?
And if so, where is that configured?

Second:
When receiving forum messages from a distribution list, will Tiki handle multiple attachments in an emailed post?
And is that a separate configuration setting from postings via the web interface?

I have answered one of the questions - YES, when receiving forum messages from a distribution list, Tiki will handle multiple attachments in an emailed post.

HOWEVER.. Tiki will not decode the base64 mime encoding of those attachments (one, or multiple, doesn't matter). Instead, Tiki stores two attachments in the attachment folder for every attachment in a distribution list email from Yahoo - one is the mime header, and the other is the still-encoded mime string.
I can see in the database that it notes the correct file type, but when viewed from the forum interface the attached file is presented still mime encoded, which is useless.

If I can't solve this issue (either through a configuration setting or an upgrade), I'm going to suggest Tiki remove the 'Yahoo Group' distribution list support from its features list.

I've been reluctant (until now) to upgrade until I had the platform functioning, in case the upgrade fixed a 'bug' I was exploiting as a 'feature' (which I have fallen victim to before).
I am willing to upgrade from 15.7 to either 15.8 (still supported) or to a later version if that is the path to nirvana, but I don't want to just try installing various versions in desperation to 'see it it works now'.

Does anyone know whether Tiki still works with yahoo group distribution lists any more, or is that functionality no longer supported?

I believe the Attach a file in Forums allows only a single file.

However, you can easily use the Upload button to "attach" multiple items in a Forum post (as I've done here):

Attach2 | Attach1

HTH,

Ah, thanks for that tip, Rick. (I turned off the toolbars to keep things simple, now I have to remember how I did that so to enable them again).

I'm still chasing the attachments/mime decoding failure issue in emails (from yahoo groups distribution list) but I'll pursue that in another topic and consider this one solved.
