    is there a way to let a user change his/her name?

    Then can change there friendly name through the user preferences screen, but the username i.e. login name is very hard to change without alot of database work. This is because Tiki uses the username to create record linking rather than a userid.

    You can change user login in tiki 1.9 versoin but not in 1.8.
