Login every darn time?

I've set up tiki 1.8.3 on a windows host, using IIS. Users complain about having to log in every time they revisit the tiki - and I agree, it's totally worthless...

...how do I get cached/cookied logins to work so I'm always logged on when on my own computer? Even after closing all browser windows I mean.... or a restart.. or a week later.

have you tried clearing temp internt files and/or cookies on that PC to see if there is a corruption in what's already there?

Well seeing as it has never worked for anyone (including me on 5 different computers) I'm more curious as to if it is suppose to work at all?

There are many problems with Cookies and TikiWiki, especially if you have Tabs code, and a lot of features enabled. We are working on suitable fix and more details are available at CookieMonster page.

Also I read your IIS, Have you made the IIS modifications to the code as on the InstallTiki guide to IIS installation?

Thank you, I'm looking into that link and am gonna spend some time researching what to do about it too I guess...

...I suppose it's also a good idea for me to tell you that I have the same "problem" with tikiwiki.org as well.
