Need Easier Interface

I was attempting to use tiki 1.8.3 to do a client's
site. They have a requirement that it must be
easy for them to create new pages.

I thought this would be a snap with tiki creating
a content template and using dynamic zones.
When I did a walk through they balked that they
would be required to enter html.

hmm... the wiki short cuts for entering html would
be ideal here.

Either I'm missing something with tiki or I need to
find something else. Is there a way to use the wiki
short cuts in html pages?

I have a problem with the text input boxes used by
the dynamic zones, they are way too narrow.

I did a search at freshmeat.net on "cms" and ordered
it by popularity - tikiwiki came out #1.

The text automatically wraps so you dont need to keep pressing enter at the end of your line wink. Why use HTML pages? Much better to use wiki pages with some permissions to control who can access what. Then you can use the wiki syntax and the tiki-editpage also has a built in quick reference area.

If you really want HTML based content, install geeklog or something. Tiki is a wiki.
