Please, Provide formats usable with free software alternatives, such as Scribus or similar (Why Scribus can't open Adobe Indesign files?). It's not accidental that in Tiki Community we use free software applications as much as we can, specially when there are solutions out there good enough for most tasks.
All the contributions to this wiki page, thanks everyone.
Guidelines
This page contains the contents of the Tiki promotion sheet, a double sided single page that gives an non technical audience an overview to what Tiki is.
We would most welcome your help in translating this page
People can always check the website to learn more. The goal is that people know enough from this sheet to choose to investigate more.
While this won't appear in the printed documentation, it's useful to support claims about stats/facts. Also, it will be useful when we re-use some of this information on info.tiki.org
I think we should avoid words like unique, best, only in favor of words like innovative, excellent, specialized, advanced etc. because other projects can do similar or better things already, or in the future and we may not know about it. If someone can discredit one word of ours, they can use to cast a shadow on everything
Please don't put anything too close to the logo. Only use the logo attached to this page. Just keep,it professional, clean and simple.
Tiki is a web-based, multilingual, wiki-based, content management system (CMS) with a tightly integrated set of comprehensive groupware features. Tiki is free and open source software, created by a large, international development team.
