Some minor tweaking questions

I've been running 1.8 for a while now, pretty pleased with it all though I don't really use much features in it (it's a guild page for a game called Lineage 2).

Last forum posts module
It would be nice to remove the forum prefix and just have the post title in the list - and probably remove the index prefix too, there's really little use in seeing "oh that one is the 7th latest post".

Menu editing
I can't seem to create menues like this:

  • Home
  • About

--
  • Guidelines
    • Gameplay
    • Economy

--
  • Links
  • Forum <-- won't work

I can't create the Links and Forum menuitems without making both of them into "options" - which will insert a line between them that I don't want. Basically, it doesn't seem to be possible to create a lone menu item after an options section?

Speed

I realise running PHP on IIS and mysql on Windows platform isn't the best approach, but is there anything one can do to speed up page rendering? The pages render in 1-2 secs usually which is pretty slow, though tolerable. I'm only using articles, forum and polls.

Yo,

The menu "lines" are controlled via CSS styles, you just need to remove the border parts from the one you want disappearing.

The forum module can easily be customised however you want by tweaking the tpl file.

As as too speed. See if there is a pre-compile turck-mmcache for your windows/iis and PHP version. Otherwise try TikiFriendlyHosts
