Assigning pages to a specific group of users
Hi,
We've been using TikiWiki 1.8.3 as a sort of Intranet for a couple of months now, very happy with it. In fact the program is so popular that my people would like to track everything on the Tiki, including some sensitive information that should not be viewable for everybody.
I created a group "managers" which includes all the permissions of "editors", the former default group for all users. But when I want to assign a specific page as "managers only", it looks like I have to assign some nine permissions to "managers" separately. One to view, one to edit, one to rename, one to administer, etc. etc. This is unworkable if you need to do it on a page-by-page basis.
All we want is that "Managers"-owned pages can be seen and edited by the users in that group, that "Editors"-owned pages can be seen and edited by users in both "Editors" and "Managers", and that a page can be switched from "Editor"-owned to "Manager"-owned in one go.
What would be the best way to achieve this?
Thank you so much for your help!
Roland
