    I have version 1.84 installed (through my webhost's CPANEL Fantastico.) I've read through the documentation and tried the prescribed way to limit the newsfeed items, but it is not working. I see all items from the feed. I'm using the Admin > RSS Preferences page. Enable/disable is checked, and the Max number of items was set to 10. I tried lowering that to 5, but still get a very long list of items. http://www.ewurster.us/teach/ is the link.

    Is there a way to limit Max items for an incoming RSS feed?

    {rssid=1 max=5} worked for an external feed for me.

    Yes, this worked:

    {rssid=1 max=5} worked for an external feed for me.

    I was using "maximum=5" and of course that does not work.
