Forum subcategories

I'm the webmaster of http://www.videoedicion.org and I've taken the decision of changing my current PHP portal, http://www.lunabyte.com/, for Tikiwiki. EVERYTHING is better in Tikiwiki but for one little, but VERY IMPORTANT detail: forum subcategories.

I REALLY NEED to have a lot of categories in the forum. I've got 64 at the moment in my present forum. In LSP there's a mod which allows to create subcategories, so that even though there are a lot of them, everything is very well organized and doesn't take much space. You can visit the current forum to get an idea:

The question is... Is it possible to do such a thing in Tikiwiki? I've been testing tikiwiki this week and I haven't been able to get something similar to what I need. Is there any mod? Any suggestions of how could I possible make it? Perhaps a toggle function or something similar?

THANKS a lot for your time.

The subcategories are setup on the Admin Forums screen when you create the actual forum, towards the top of the form is a textbox and also a drop down list of your current Categories.

First of all. THANKS A LOT for your reply, but that's not what I was asking for. I'm not interested in categories but in SUBFORUMS, which is a different concept. I hope this picture will help you get the idea:

The idea is to REDUCE the space neede grouping similar forums. One exacmple of what I need, in practice, is the Tikiwiki menu. You've got a lot of options collapsed to save space but, when needed, you can expand them to access them all. Something similar would be great for the forum. Lo collapse or hide somehow some minor forums to save space.

I hope you can understand now what I need. Thanks for any possible idea
