Re: Text wrap around images
> Hi, I'm trying to get some text to wrap around an image on a tikiwiki page. I told it to align to the right side of the page, but the text doesn't go around it like i'm trying to get it to. Is there a way to make it do this? if you want to see what i'm talking about, the page is here.
Hi Steyr:
First of all, notice that currently you are allowing anonymous users to edit your homepage (is that what you intended?). Check documentation for permissions, groups, etc., if needed.
Second, I understand that the "desc=" param from img code/plugin is what it should be used for what your are looking for, but it still doesn't allow spaces on the desc field.
{img src=http://example.com/foo.jpg width=200 height=100 align=center link=http://www.yahoo.com desc=foo} displays an image height width desc link and align are optional
See:
{img src=http://wiki.thelys.org/tiki-download_wiki_attachment.php?attId=4 width=200 align=center desc=The_noble_night_Aegir_Brondolf...}
which produces:
but this:
{img src=http://wiki.thelys.org/tiki-download_wiki_attachment.php?attId=4 width=200 align=center desc=The noble night Aegir Brondolf...}
which produces:
However, there some trick to do something similar to what you are looking for, I guess, which is made with the SPLIT plugin. Thus, if you write:
{SPLIT()} --- {img src=http://wiki.thelys.org/tiki-download_wiki_attachment.php?attId=4 width=95% align=center} The noble night Aegir Brondolf had fallen. For many years his grand castle has remained un-claimed. Are you ready to claim it for your own? This spacious castle is located off the north-east coast of Solstheim. The castle itself offers many living and exploratory areas, including:... {SPLIT}
you'll get:
The noble night Aegir Brondolf had fallen. For many years his grand castle has remained un-claimed. Are you ready to claim it for your own? This spacious castle is located off the north-east coast of Solstheim. The castle itself offers many living and exploratory areas, including:... |
You'll have to play with the plugin SPLIT:
SPLIT Split a page into rows and columns: {SPLIT(joincols=>[y|n|0|1],fixedsize=>[y|n|0|1])}row1col1---row1col2@@@row2col1---row2col2{SPLIT}
I hope it helps...

P.S. There is something strange with forum page preview and cache size of windows (due to size of images in previous forum post previews), by the way....
