Thank You so much for putting this note here (Go to the General preferences and settings page and uncheck Use gzipped output).
For several months I've had the problem that whenever I came to my Tikiwiki website, a blank page would first come that said, "The XML page cannot be displayed Cannot view XML input using XSL style sheet. Please correct the error and then click the Refresh button, or try again later. Only one top level element....."
After doing what you said "uncheck the 'Use Unzipped Output' button" I no longer have my "XML page cannot be displayed...." error. It works fine now. Thanks a bunch.
