Question about structures

posts: 3

Hello, I'm new to tw.

Is the following possible:
I want to have a structure like that:

Point Car
Point Ferrari
Point something about ferrari
Point Toyota
Point something about Toyoat

Now I have a on the page 'Car'
The toc shows every child-node.
Is it possible to show just the entries ferrari and toyota and if I click on one of then, show all the other subpages in a toc?

In TikiWiki 1.9 there are some extra parameters you can pass to toc

order=desc or asc
showdesc=0 or 1
shownum=0 or 1
type=fancy or plain

Maybe try playing with those?

Where do you do this? I've got 1.9.0 installed and I don't see any place to enter parameters; nothing new on tiki-admin_structures.php. Actually, I was thinking maybe Arkanis has wiki page structures and maketoc (with 1 page) sort of mixed together, but that could be my misunderstanding.

When you say "structure", do you mean a set of wiki pages put together with the Tiki structure feature (tiki-admin_structures.php)?

And when you say {toc}, do you mean {maketoc}?, which will make a table of contents on one wiki page that refers to headings below on that page? Sorry, but maybe a couple of different things are getting mixed together here, or maybe it's just me. wink

@Gary Cunningham-Lee
I mean really the structure and the tag :-)

Well, perhaps I have to give 1.9.0 a try.
