Upgrading from 1.8.5 to 1.9.1

Hi!

I'm going to upgrade my wikis from 1.8.5 to 1.9.1. However, I'm quite puzzled by the instructions for Upgrading the Database in UpgradeTo19.

Where and how do I run the mysql command? I administer my website through one of those Control Panels commonly available on many web hosts.

You simply :

1) Backup
2) Upload/extract new 1.9.1 code
3) browse to tiki-install.php
4) login as admin
5) Choose the 1.8 to 1.9 upgrade script
6) remove tiki-install.php
7) Have a cuppa tea and relax

Easy :-)

So easy in fact Ill put the kettle on now in readyness :-)

Ah, I see what you mean. Thank you! :-)

Running tiki-install.php opens a menu-page page which is really easy to use. Would be useful to include these instructions in the UpgradeTo19 page.

Another question though: If I want to create a multitiki, but I couldn't quite understand the instructions. Do you have a simpler version like the one here?

Strange. For me, installation was indeed a breeze. But upgrading is rather puzzling.

For example, where and how do I run the mysql command in the way described in the Upgrading the Database section — mysql -f -u dbuser -p tikidb < tiki_1.8to1.9.sql?

I don't find how I could upgrade TikiWiki 9,1 to 9,2
