Re: Re: Moving the module to the right...

United States

The align="right" is for the entire DIV — not the text (see http://www.w3.org/TR/1999/REC-html401-19991224/present/graphics.html#adef-align for more info).

To close the gap, check the margin settings in your CSS for the login-box. On my site, I've completely "closed the gap" between the module heading and the first line of text.

My box-title style looks like this:

div.box-title{margin-top:10px; font-size:10px; overflow:hidden; text-align:left; padding-left:6px; padding-right:6px; margin-bottom:1px; width:180px;}

You can try Gary's idea of tables... I, for one, dislike using tables to control layout problems — it flys in the face of usability. sad

Good luck,

Anyway, the div that contains the search module div in my Planetfall theme also contains a logo image, which I wanted to display at the left side (and there's a separate background image as well — bg img of the containing table cell — to maintain a nice display on wide pages and to allow the logo on top to be changed independently), so floating the module to the right seemed like a good way to get it over there while not interfering with the placement of the logo image. I suppose the main point is that there are different ways to get the same results.
