image and anhcor troublez on wikipages

i am having difficulities lately when uploading pictures to a page directly from the wikipage editor. what happens is, well, that pictures are not uploaded at all, nothing showing up on the page :-( i can upload to galleries and then create a link, however it is time consuming and besides this was working for me before..only thing I did was that I switched to store picz in directory and not in database..I am working as admin, so this is not a perm issue..any ideas?
by the way, my GD generated thumbnails are also corrupted frequently, I have to regenereate them 3-4 times a day..is this normal??

I also can not use for godknowswhy the anchors on pages. I use the syntax given in the help (ANAME and ALINK), but what happens is that when I click on the link it jumps to the homepage of the site..I also tried to copy the examples given in the documentation, but the error remained the same, I just wanted to have a "go to top" kind of thing on the page..I have downloaded the php files and copied again to the correct locations on the server, no effect..
could some advise on these issues? I would really appreciate it..

ps: I'm on 1.9.2

Ok, I have found out that the image upload did not work because of the css I was using..It was on neat.css, I switched to geo.css and it was working again..i did not know that the css can have such an effect on picture upload to a page..
anchors still wont work, maybe I keep searching for a proper css :-)

I copy/paste the help in wiki help page with no problem (I changed the name of the page of course to my page name)
DId you try without the param pagename?

tnx sylvie, the solution was to add the name of the page, if it is missing, it jumps back to homepage..the documentation should be updated on this,
cheers,

This is strange. I don't have the same problem here....The page= is regenerated in the url if not indicated
