YACQ (Yet Another Calendar Question)

United States

1) Is there a way to set/establish a recurring calendar event?

2) Before entering your first event, the Category pick-list is empty and will not allow you to create a new category name using the text box. After entering the first event, the Category pick-list then displays "not specified" with no other category listings. Why is this, as I have created an extensive category list via the administrative category management module with the appropriate permissions set?

Thx.

No. However, you can edit a previous event, change info and click duplicate (instead of save). Each item is completely independant.

Thanks for the info. How about question 2? I want users to be able to categorize events, using the categories I have already set up.

The category in the calendar is different from the general category. Don't ask me why.
You have to create an event with a new category. So fill up the text on the right text bow. Then when you will create another event, this category will appear in the scroll list. You can choose it or create another one.
