This is my process:
- Record any customizations that I made to any of the "core" Tiki files (i.e., anything other than my custom templates).
- Unpack all of the files over my existing files.
- Run the DB upgrade.
- Reapply my customizations (from step 1, above).
- Updated my custom templates to take advantage of any new features, if needed.
