WYSIWYG Image upload

Using version 1.10 wysiwyg within wiki, and had a problem uploading an image to the server....

Specifically when I use the Insert Image object, upload, browse on my local computer for the image, and then send it to the server....it says it is succesful, but within the wysiwyg it shows up has a broken image and I cant find it anywhere....

is this some kind of path issue whereby I need to chage the path, if so where and how?

Thanks!

I don't have 1.10 running, but I have 1.9.7 and integrated the FCKeditor by myself, and I had the same problem.
First of all, there are two files in witch the path has to be declared: config.php ($Config'UserFilesPath') in my case in the folder /lib/fckeditor/editor/filemanager/browser/default/connectors/php
and in config.php in the folder lib/fckeditor/editor/filemanager/upload/php.

The other problem I had was that I had no rights in the folder 'userfiles'.

Hope you have already solved your problem!

Greets,
Gwenny

I too would love to hear how to install the FCKeditor...

Hello! I'm wondering how you installed the WYSIWYG FCKeditor.

I've been reading all the documentation available on this website, done searches, read forums, but I can't find out how to do this.

All the documentation says that the FCKeditor should be installed already and I should be able to turn it on in the Features, but I don't seem to have that option. I am using version 1.9.7. From what I have been reading, it looks like it should be there, but I can't find it, and I've looked under EVERY Admin option.

My eventual user-base will not be very computer savvy, I would like to make this as easy as possible for them.

Any help/advice would be much appreciated.biggrin

Hello, excuse me for my bad english, I hop you will understand me in any case.

You must create "UserFiles" folder on root directory "www" from your server. UserFiles must contain File, Flash, Image and Media folders. Then WYSIWYG will encounter all you want.

Now you are uploading to Image System Folder and it is not operative for wysiwyg.

biggrin good luck. Illeta.
