Works fine -- your need to fix your syntax

Your syntax is incorrect. Use --- to separate columns; @@@ to separate rows. Please see the docs, here for full details. Since you have only a single @@@ Tiki is producing only two rows.
This syntax:
Copy to clipboard
{SPLIT()}r1c1---r1c2@@@r2c1---r2c2@@@r3c1{SPLIT}
Will produce:
| r1c1 | r1c2 |
| r2c1 | r2c2 |
| r3c1 | |
