Re:Compare and contrast PostNuke, Xaraya, and TikiWiki

Interesting to know. I'm new to the PHP/MySQL world, also approaching the issue as a user, NOT a programmer, but moderately au fait technically.

I would be interested in hearing opinions on the following issues, which are absolute requirements for the sites I work on (in my spare time, so I don't have a vast amount of time to test and compare).
1) User security: I need to be able to divide the site content into sections which ALL users can see (including anonymous), but only a particuler group can update. Simple enough you would think, but so far Tiki is the only thing I have found which can accomodate this, and even then only for the Wiki and not for the articles. I find this astonishing and if anyone knows another open source CMS that can do this I would like to know (I think Xaraya might, but it seems rather new in other respects).
2) Dump all content to HTML: absolutely necessary since I have to assure the longevity of the content, I can't afford to be tied to the database formats of a particular CMS. Only Tiki can do this as far as I am aware.
3) Handle multiple languages: currently ten languages and counting, I want my sites to be truly multi-lingual (ie the content you see depends on the language you choose, including for anonymous users). This means ALL content (blocks, sections, articles, etc) must have a language parameter so that display is dependent on selected language. Tiki can't do this - the best I have found so far is Envolution.
