    Hi!
    I am currently running my TikiWiki site ( The eBA Basketball Encyclopedia ) on a
    VPS Server
    45000 MB Disk Space Usage
    50000 MB Monthly Bandwidth Transfer
    80.32 MB Wiki Database
    768Mb of ram guaranteed
    $49 per month

    I am ONLY running the WIKI section of the TikiWiki application... no galleries, no forums, no blogs, no maps... ONLY WIKI PAGES !

    With this data, since the last upgrade to TikiWiki 3.3. (last month), I am daily suffering from slow performances, large time loading and blank pages. Reaching to a 3rd. level of the site is sometimes "mission Impossible".

    For the server's support team, the problem is caused by "the poor written code of TikiWiki"... and because this software is very resource intensive and I may require a more powerful VPS...

    I am with my TikiWiki for 4/5 years and although I don't understand nothing about coding, I am convinced about that this statement is wrong... This program gave in the past and give me in the present an excellent result !

    My server's support team upgraded only for one hour my site to a dedicated server ($200 per month) and the site ran in every direction... working properly... (... now I answer, if the TikiWiki application has a poor code... why it runs properly in a costly Dedicated server...)
    Currently they downgraded my site to the original VPS till end of this month...

    NOW my question for HELP !...
    Must be TikiWiki be hosted ONLY by a dedicated server ?
    Must I pay $200 per month to run TikiWiki (only WIKI PAGES) ?
    Which web hosting can REALLY host and support ONLY WIKI-TikiWiki ?

    I have been in this TikiWiki address

    but all the first 5 companies answered me that they are not Tiki.org and they have not any speciality in TikiWiki... or they did not answered at all...

    Hi!
    I have another five days to change my web server and no one Web Server recommendation ... ( there is no one web server recommendated for TikiWiki between all this forum users ? )

    I didn't received any one single answer about the "TikiWiki POOR WRITTEN CODE" ... ( therefore my server support techs are right ? TikiWiki is really a "poor written code " which causes all the problems ? )

    But Bluehost offers ONLY 128 mb of ram guaranteed...and I am having problems with 726 !!!

    Again, how much web traffic does your site get? I think that will be the determining factor.

    3000 visits mensual average to the principal domain (eba-stats.com) and 1000 unique visitors to the wiki site: ebawords.com...

    Is that 3,000 visits per month? Per day?

    As I said, my site has 4,000 per month, and it runs fine on Bluehost.com.

    I would like to offer to host your domain website based on TikiWiki. I ran TikiWiki for many years in the past, and just went back to using it again. What would you need?

    As far as space there is no limit and no extra costs for it. For Bandwith the same is no costs. I have webmail and FTP web based admin etc for you to work with, and just about what ever you may need. You can run galleries, forums, blogs, maps, or which ever function tikiwiki offers.

    Not sure what your willing to pay biut $75.00 month I think is a good price.

    as I said Ricky 3000 visits mensual average (from them 1000 to the wiki place)...

    ...but I think it is not only the number of my visitors but also the number of pages (more than 10000, today), corresponding number of queries , a lot of CPU and all what implies an Encyclopedia... (with my other 4 sites, I am fine (!)

    ...and also the TikiWiki tech support (if it is a TikiWiki friendly web host...) because my actual wqeb server does not supports Tiki Wiki...

    ...and also a TikiWiki site without webmaster what implies a site not optimized for TikiWiki...

    ...that's means, Ricky... I am looking for what I currently have not... a REAL friendly TikiWiki web hosting which support techs shall not refer to TikiWiki as a 3rd. party resource... but their first !(or their second at least...)
