Tranlation in Modules title

posts: 46 Portugal

Hi there,
First of all, congratulation for all the Tikiwiki development team that are doing a great job. Now for my question:
- I've been using tiki-wiki (1.7.4) for a couple of portals that need to be in two different languages.
I'm using the database to translate everything that is related with tiki standard stuff and I'm also using
it to translate my own Menus. Everything is fine with the menus, but the titles of the modules to which I
assign some menus are not translated.

Any hint on how to solve this problem.

Hi!

Have a look through the module templates and make sure that the titles are surrounded by {tr}blah blah{/tr}

the tr is used to lookup a language string.

Let me know how you get on so I can maybe get your fix into 1.7.5!!

Hi there,
I've modified the line nr. 3 of the user_module.tpl file to:
{tr}{$user_title}{/tr}

It works fine know.

cheers

Damian,

Here's one more fix along this same line:

mod-polls.tpl.cache

The word "Results" in line 15 (Results) also needs {tr}{/tr} surrounding it.
