Re: tiki keeps auto-generating unwanted new homepages
This is not simply a warmware error. This happened to me right after upgrading to 6.2, with the repeated creation of new Welcome/Install screens with long numbered names. It took a large number of repeated tries resetting the wiki home page to another wiki page and eventually it took.
Another, perhaps related issue is that in admin/general/navigation I can't get the blog that used to be my home page to be my home page anymore. So I'm stuck mwith a wiki page.
These features have always been a little troublesome but I have seen numerous posts about the same problem recently.
One suggestion was to reset the Tiki cache but that has not helped. More on this at
