    Is there some sort of checkbox I am missing somewhere to turn on word-wrap in articles? When I click on the (read more) to my article, it stretches the screen horizontally, and doesn't wrap the text.

    Check the first character in the article isnt a space!

    A space in column 1 puts the wiki parser into a monospaced font mode. You can always turn this off in Admin->Wiki middle of the screen auto monospaced font.
