    Hi,

    I am running on a shared hosting site. So I have phpMyAdmin access. the upgrade instructions from 1.7 to 1.8 mention that you should use a -f forced update parameter to make sure that errors are ignored when patching the database.

    What is the equivalent way of doing this using phpMyAdmin, anybody know?

    Hi,

    Im unsure, but can I suggest you use the provided tiki-install.php? there are the other 2 which are also linked into this installer package.

    Remember to delete it once your finished with your upgrade.
