    • /tmp does not exist

    Hi ! after installation tikiwiki I got this :

    The directory '/tmp' does not exist or PHP is not allowed to access it (check open_basedir entry in php.ini).

    I have created /tmp with mod 777
    I can can only use ftp for the server.

    Can anyone please give me some simple instructions..

    I followed Sridhar's instruction to install with FTP..

    Hi,

    This is the global /tmp for the system not for a /tmp in your webspace.
    What you will need to do, is modify your code as on the bottom on InstallTikiUnderSafeMode with the ini_set's
