Multiple images within a hidden text area

United States

I'm looking for a cleaner way of doing this. Right now I have an ordered list on a page. On the second level of that list I have a hidden text area. I would like to have multiple images hidden within that area as well that will show only when the whole area is shown. I would also like for the level 1 numbering to continue after the hidden section. Essentially it is a list of steps to follow, with the first step being conditional. If it needs to be done, open the hidden text and look at more directions as well as screenshots. So far I have been able to make it work like this:

#If program is not installed
##-Open a browser and download the installer
...
##Final step. Press Finish %%%{img fileId="1" <parameters>}{img fileId="2" <parameters>}...{img fileId="9" <parameters>} %%%

Within the parameters I include stylebox="float: left;" to stack the images side by side. As you can guess, with multiple images and parameters for each, this becomes a very long line of text. The line break characters are needed because if I place the images on the next line they will not be included in the hidden text.

If I were to use
%%%{img fileId="1|2|...|9" <parameters>}%%%
it shortens it significantly but pushes the images outside of the hidden text area and restarts the level 1 numbering.

Using Multiple Image Notation
Is there a way to include the images within the hidden text area that does not involve a very long line of text, thus making the editor easier to read?

Hi David,
you can do:

#If program is not installed
##-Open a browser and download the installer
...
##Final step. Press Finish
++{img fileId="1" <parameters>}
++{img fileId="2" <parameters>}
++...
++{img fileId="9" <parameters>}%%%

Or try the Fade wiki-plugin.
