    • errors after install

    i'm running xp home version, apache 2 and mysql 4.0.15nt,
    i installed tikiwiki so i could check it out, but i'm getting the following errors:

    Warning: session_start(): open(\\sess_ad3b4f41d974f073a1a42d35c9422888, O_RDWR) failed: Invalid argument (22) in C:\Program Files\Apache Group\Apache2\htdocs\tikiwiki-1.8.2\tiki-setup_base.php on line 173


    how do i fix this?

    What version are you using? I'm pretty sure this was already seen. Check InstallTikiTroubleshootingDoc.

    I'm using 1.8.2
    i skimmed through the troubleshooting bit...but i'll check again (more throughly this time). thanks

    Your session.save_path isnt setup correctly

    have a peek in your php.ini file for its path and set it to a temporary folder somewhere on your PC
