Pages not saving

Hello

I keep getting messages like this when I try to save a long-ish text page (short pages seem to save OK).

Warning: strstr(): Empty delimiter. in /home/yeah-yea/public_html/tiki/lib/tikilib.php on line 4084
-^

I read that you should not save bigger files to the database, so I changed this to a diectory - (the same one as the tiki installation - was that wrong?)

Is this something I can correct from the admin pages? I do not know anything about this system, as it was installed automatically.

Hope to get this sorted as the overall system seems VERY good.

Thanks in advance - John

OOoo Automatically installed? Which host are you using?

The file system storage will only be for Image Gals and File Gals. Wiki Pages are only stored in the database.

Thank you for the reply, Damian.
As you can see, I don't even know how to use this board properly!
The tiki was installed by Fantastico at www.imhosted.com in America.
I can give you all the details if you need them.
The annoying thing is that I genuinely think this is a brilliant system and will cover all my needs.
It just needs to let a dumbo halfwit like me get the hang of it before it pokes me in the eye with problems!
I would even be happy to pay to make it work for me.
Thanks again for taking the trouble to reply.

Might be good to see a phpinfo() results. I cant see any details on their site, but I do see they use a cache and mod_gzip, with may need a slight tiki tweak to get working.

If you could maybe email me a admin login to your Tiki there, I can check a couple of settings out and report back

Hi Damian,

I've got a similar problem... and am also Fantastico installed.. see here.

Like John I'm soooo impressed by Tiki... especially having just done a pretty comprehensive sweep of the wiki world looking for solutions for my Uni (I'm downunder).

If you could point me towards what I might be able to do to sort this it would be amazing!

Cheers, James
