    When we use collapsed items (e.g., "!!!-ABC"), the -/+-Symbol is displayed in the next line. Is it possible, that the symbol is placed in the same line?

    I'm sure the code is tweakable in that area. Have a look in the lib/tikilib.php, you will need to spend some time there searching for the section, thats a massive nerve centre file of TikiWiki
