    • 3d java browser

    I have just discovered the 3d browser.
    It works fine on tikiwiki.org.
    So how can I get it to work on my site? And I don't mean how do I display the icon on top, I have already done that.

    It's just that I can't seem to find any documentation about it, or else I'm searching with the wrong keywords...

    Perhaps I should mention in *every* post that I am already running 1.9rc1? wink

    I have the Wiki 3D icon, when I click it a new window opens with a Java applet, and then nothing.
    The problem cannot be with my browser or my Java VM, because tikiwiki.org is no problem. Ergo there must be a configuration issue in my tiki setup.

    If you use the Sun javavm try to enable the jave console and look there for any errors.
    Second hint look at the source code of the pop-up window for the 3D Browser. Same here and on your site?
    Third hint I tried to edit the tiki-wikio3d.tpl via the tikiwiki frontend to add a help text. After that action the applet codebase tag inside the template was gone. I needed to restore this file from the original source. I think the code cleanup while saving the template removed this tag.

    second hint, look at the source code of the wiki3d popup window here and on your site, any differences that can cause this error?
    third hint editing the template file tiki-wiki3d.tpl via the tikiwiki frontend is maybe not a good idea. I did this and the applet codebase tag was removed while saving. Perhaps there is some code cleanup while saving templates. After restoring this file from the original sources evrything was fine.
