Error while editing a wiki page

posts: 8319 Israel

I have began intregration of pages into wiki.
I have set a page mixted with wiki syntax and HTML.

Now, each time i save my edition, it show an error.

Warning: strstr(): Empty delimiter. in /home/httpd/vhosts/xxx//lib/tikilib.php on line 4175

Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /home/httpd/vhosts/xxx/lib/tikilib.php:4175) in /home/httpd/vhosts/xxx/tiki-editpage.php on line 640

But if i close the window and look at this page it is ok including my last modifications.

I've look at the line 4175 "if $link, $_SERVER%22SERVER_NAME%22"

Does this have to do something with info i can enter in "admin->general and admin-> login ?

This error occurs in the rare cases when SERVER_NAME is not set for some reason. It has been fixed in the latest CVS code. The fix will be in the upcoming 1.8.4 and 1.9 releases. Thanks for your report.

Question is can set the "SERVER_NAME" somewhere ?

yoni, I believe it is an Apache (or whatever web server you're running) setting. I'm a linux newbie and not a sys-admin so I can't tell you how to set it. My understanding is that most servers have it though my locally installed server also lacks it.

In case you are unable to upgrade (like you use fantastico and would rather not mess with it manually) you may fix this problem by going to the following in your tiki:

Admin -> General

And where it says "Server name (for absolute URIs):" put your tiki url so if your tiki is "example.com/tiki/" simply put "http://example.com/tiki/" as the value, save, and everything will work.

I found this information somewhere in this forum and cannot take credit :-)

Thank you very much Philip.

As i'm "hosting admin" dependant about upgrading Wiki. I have to wait a "solid 1.9" release before ask him to process. So "your" wink solution is perfect meanwhile !

Have a nice day
